Does Your Company Have a Marketing System?

Step 1: Define your objective.

You have to be clear about your objective even before you determine your target market. Because it’s easy to get confused when focusing on the market first. Often the best question to ask here is: What has worked really well in the past, and how can we do more of it?

That question is quickly followed by: What have we done in the past that has performed poorly that we can eliminate and avoid?

Those two questions are a good starting point.
